There were many celebrities on the ship. Some got on the ship at one port, performed their shows, and got off at another port. Some stayed on the ship the whole week. Others did not perform at all. They were just there to have a good time like the rest of us. Everyday, we saw celebrities all over the ship - the elevators, pool deck, parties, etc.. There was an informal policy on this cruise that said if you ask a celebrity to take a picture with you then you had to take the picture within three seconds. None of the stars we encountered ever enforced this rule. You were more likely to hear chants of "3 second rule" from other passengers waiting to meet the celebrity if you were fumbling with your camera too long. Comedian Wanda Sykes said she was using the 5 second rule since she loved all the attention. Then she joked it took her three hours to walk from the ship entrance to her cabin because of all the people stopping her for a photo op. Traci and I took pictures with a few of the celebs we saw but most of the time we did not want to interrupt them while they were enjoying themselves. Instead, we would just say hello if we happened to make eye contact. Here is my celebrity sighting list on this year's cruise:
Whoopi Goldberg & Traci

Tom Joyner & Traci

Tavis Smiley & Me

Dr. Bobby Jones & Traci
